About

Hi, my name is Tiffany, I have a passion and heart to reach the youth and young adults through blogs, podcasts and my books. God has given me a heart to serve and to testify of his goodness and faithfulness. I would love to pour into the youth and let them know that they, too, have a voice and a purpose in this life. God wants you to know that you are seen, heard and deeply loved. Created with a purpose for a purpose.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

In the Quiet

John 15:4

“Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bare fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine. Neither can you, unless you abide in the vine.”

Psalm 46:10

“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the Earth.”

I am not a parent, but those that are, you know that a toddler has a hard time sitting still or laying down for a nap. You have tried everything, calming music, rocking them to sleep, patting them on the back, but they seem to be so restless. They feel discontent, irritable because something deep down is bugging them, but cannot say what it is. So what do we do to help them? Pray the peace of God over their lives. We ask God to intervene, because we don’t know what else to do as parents. Guess what God does? Just like with Peter, James, John in the boat when the seas raged, Jesus came, walking on water and calm the raging sea.

Maybe right now, something inside you is feeling restless. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but it’s causing irritability and maybe even sleepless nights. I have good news! Jesus is here and he wants the fears, worries, anxieties, pressures of life, so you too, can rest. In that moment, it’s as if Jesus is saying, “let me comfort you and give you the rest that you need right now.” I wanna let you know parents, we are all little children in the eyes of God. Sometimes when things get too much and we don’t know how to talk about it or we don’t know how to express it. God knows, he sees and he will comfort us. We will feel that gentle pat on the back, we will feel a warm hug from the Holy Spirit, we will hear a sweet sweet sound, like a whisper from heaven saying, “Here am I.” Psalm 46:10 reminds us that we are not God. We don’t have the answers and we never will. The promise that it gives us is peace. Peace in every situation. Peace in every circumstance. When you call up upon the name of the Lord, and when you feel overwhelmed and stressed out. Exalt him for he is good. God will never let you down.

Challenge:

For those that have tried to do things on their own. Learn to abide in Jesus and let him carry you and see how God moves in your life.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I pray over every parent, every home, every circumstance and situation. I ask the peace of God to flood over their homes and go into the kids schools. Go into the workplace of the hard-working parents. Sometimes, some days are hard and we cannot do it without you, Lord. As we abide you, may you carry us to victory as we rest and wait on you, Lord. For you have given us a promise and with that we say, “yes sir, yes and amen.” Guide us by your Holy Spirit, so that as we abide in you and your words abide in us, we will rest in knowing that you God are for us and not against us. We trust you and release our burdens to you, in Jesus name, Amen!!!
