I believe that everyone has their own unique style and personality that makes them who they are. I want everyone to know that if you think you are not worthy or seen as important because of the differences you might have, it’s ok. Jerimiah 1:5 says, “before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart…” Every human is created to reflect God’s character and attributes. Just like God reminded Jerimiah of his identity and who he is and what he is created for, He is also reminding you right now, I (God) have formed you in the womb. I (God) knew you before you were born. I (God) have set you apart. If you find yourself asking, “set me apart for what?” Then I want you (the reader) to know, where there is light, darkness cannot stand. We must be the image bearers that reflect the light of Jesus as we have been called and appointed to carry the heart of Jesus. At the end of the day, the outer appearance (the body) will not matter as much as the inward appearance (heart & soul).
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” (Matthew 6:25-27)
