About

Hi, my name is Tiffany, I have a passion and heart to reach the youth and young adults through blogs, podcasts and my books. God has given me a heart to serve and to testify of his goodness and faithfulness. I would love to pour into the youth and let them know that they, too, have a voice and a purpose in this life. God wants you to know that you are seen, heard and deeply loved. Created with a purpose for a purpose.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

3 Steps to Overcoming Panic Attacks

  1. Do the 5-4-3-2-1 method.
  • Look at 5 items in the room.
  • Name 4 items in the room.
  • Listen to 3 types of sounds.
  • 2 things you can smell.
  • 1 thing you can taste

2. Pause and Pray

This is a good tactic to use when you feel stuck and overwhelmed. Even just saying “God help me.” This gives God access to come in and bring healing or restoration to what you need in that moment.

“Pray without ceasing.”

– 1 Thessalonians 5:17

This means to never stop praying no matter what. This “pause and pray” method can get anyone through anything.

3. Remember what you are grateful for.

This may sound silly. But, grattitude comes with blessings. Grattitude brings joy and peace. By saying what you are grateful for out loud or writing 5 things out on paper every day can change your mindset and bring you from a place of panic, to a place of grattitude. Then you wonder, “what was I even anxious about?”

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

-1 Thessalonians 5:18

These 3 techniques gets you out of your head and focused on something else. Whether you do the 5-4-3-2-1 method, pause and pray, or grattitude. They all help to break free from the mind. These help you to focus on something else besides the problem at hand. Try these methods and see what works for you.
